Terms and Conditions

If an exchange request is due to illness, you must contact the ticketing provider from who you purchased the ticket no later than 10am for Matinee, or 12pm for evening performance and proof of illness is required, if request is received after these times the exchange cannot be applied.

Tickets may be exchanged for any other single performance on sale at the time of exchange, subject to seat availability, blackout dates, sold-out performances and other restrictions. Exchanges may not be made for the same performance.

Exchanges will only be made for tickets purchased through the authorised ticket seller for the venue. Tickets purchased via third-party providers are subject to their exchange policies, we recommend contacting them directly.

Exchanges will be valued at the original face value of the ticket purchased. Additional payments may apply if choosing a performance or price level that costs more than the original ticket value, or if original ticket value was from an originally discounted ticket into a performance with no discounts available.

New special offers may not be applied to exchanged tickets.

Exchanges may not be made to reduce the total number of tickets originally purchased.

Upon exchange, original tickets will be voided and will not allow access into the performance. Customers must present newly issued tickets for entry into the performance.

Complimentary tickets and resold tickets are not eligible for exchange.

Other restrictions may apply. Exchange policy may change or be revoked without notice.

The authorised ticket seller of Waitress Sydney is Ticketmaster. The authorised ticket seller of Waitress Melbourne is Ticketek.

Customers are encouraged to avoid buying tickets through unauthorised third-party websites that sell secondary tickets, as there is no guarantee the tickets will be valid for entry at the venue. This includes unauthorised re-sellers such as Viagogo, Ticketbis, eBay, Gumtree, Tickets Australia, Queen of Tickets, or similar.

To make a wheelchair or companion card booking, please email to request a call back. The Sydney Lyric box office will call you to complete your booking as soon as possible, between the hours of Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

For Her Majesty’s Theatre, Melbourne:

The foyer of Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne is accessible from street level. Due to the lack of a lift to the Dress Circle and Grand Circle levels, it is strongly advised that patrons with limited mobility to be seated in the Stalls. To book accessible tickets, including those for companion card holders and patrons requiring wheelchair positions or transfers, please call the dedicated box office number at (03) 9662 9571. The show is 2 hours 30 minutes in length. This includes a 20 minute interval.

  • Rob Mills will not be performing on 27th June and  4th July.

Sydney Season

  • Natalie Bassingthwaighte will not be performing on 29th or 30th August.
  • Rob Mills will not be performing on 1st, 2nd or 3rd October.
