Natalie Bassingthwaighte

Natalie is one of Australia’s most versatile entertainers, achieving success as a presenter, actress, musician, and author. Most recently, Natalie took to the stage delivering a critically acclaimed performance in Willy Russell’s Shirley Valentine. Prior to this, Natalie captivated audiences as Mary-Jane in Alanis Morissette’s Tony Award-winning musical Jagged Little Pill, earning a nomination for the prestigious Green Room Award for Best Leading Artist.
Natalie’s work on television includes the original host of the TV Week Logie winning show, So You Think You Can Dance Australia, judge and mentor on Channel Seven’s popular series The X Factor Australia and The X Factor New Zealand, where she led Beau Monga to victory. Other presenting roles include Space 22 for the ABC, exploring the merit of creative release to aid and assist mental health, and showcasing amazing travel destinations on Luxury Escapes: The World’s Best Holidays. Natalie has also hosted and performed at the ARIA Awards.
Natalie participated on the third season of Network Ten’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here where she was one of the finalists. She explored her ancestry on season 12 of SBS’s Who Do You Think You Are, and in 2024 Natalie competed alongside her sister Mel on Network Ten’s The Amazing Race.
Her recent acting credits include the role of Elvis’s Stepmother in Baz Luhrmann’s movie, Elvis, alongside Tom Hanks, the role of Rachel in feature film Take My Hand alongside Rhadha Mitchell, the second season of Network Ten’s The Wrong Girl, reprising her role as Izzy Hoyland in the iconic television series Neighbours, and Network Ten’s biopic Brock, alongside Matt Le Nevez. Other credits include the third instalment of the hit series Underbelly: The Golden Mile and short film Why Would I Lie? for which Natalie won Best Actress at the 2016 Tropfest awards.
Coming up, Natalie will star in the action-comedy Zombie Plane, sharing the screen with Vanilla Ice and Brian Austin Green.
Natalie began her stage career on Australian productions of Grease (as Sandy) alongside Magda Szubanski and John Farnham, Footloose (Ariel Moore), Chess (Florence Vassy), Rent and Chicago. She performed at the iconic Sydney Opera House for the hugely successful extended season of the play Love, Loss and What I Wore and Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s Funny Girl In Concert. In 2019 Natalie returned to the smash hit musical Chicago in the lead role of Roxie Hart, for which she was nominated for best female actor in a musical for the Sydney Theatre Awards.
Natalie’s music career has seen her achieve acclaim as one of only twenty Australian solo female artists to reach Number One on the ARIA Album Charts with her solo album, 1000 STARS. She has enjoyed international success as front woman of The Rogue Traders, achieving multi-platinum sales across two albums, as well as two APRA nominations, an MTV award win and seven ARIA nominations. 2026 will also see a new album from the Rogue Traders as well as a national tour. Her music career has seen her perform at some of Australia’s biggest music events and concerts including supporting Christina Aguilera for her exclusive show in Melbourne in 2023, headlined the Australian tour of Synthony that same year, performed with the Melbourne Sydney Orchestra in the George Michael Freedom concert and has headlined the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras After Party.
Coming in 2026, Natalie’s highly anticipated upcoming memoir Love Like This is an unflinchingly honest and intimate account of love, loss, and the courage it takes to embrace your whole story — even the parts you once wanted to hide. In the book, she reflects on her personal and professional life with vulnerability, offering readers a powerful insight into the experiences that have shaped her both in and away from the spotlight.
Across her long-standing career, Natalie has received TV Week Logie Award nominations for Most Popular Actress, Most Popular Presenter and two Gold Logie Award nominations for most popular personality.

Gabriyel Thomas

Gabriyel Thomas (she/her) is a New York City and Melbourne based actor. Hot off of the Australian national tour of CATS where she portrayed the role of Grizabella the Glamour Cat, Gabriyel has established herself as an Australian theatre favourite. Some of her other recent Australian theatrical credits include Michelle/Deloris Van Cartier (alternate) in the Australian national tour of Sister Act the Musical (Crossroads Live) and Lorraine in the Australian national tour of Hairspray. Gabriyel received her training at Bowling Green State University where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a specialization in Musical Theatre.
Back in the USA, Gabriyel had the chance to experience traveling across the country with the North American national tour of Hairspray. This is where her love for traveling theatre was born. She loves having the opportunity to travel the world while doing what she loves to do.
Gabriyel wants to thank all of the friends she has made in Australia for making this country feel like home, her wonderful family back in America for supporting her dreams from the other side of the world, and her team at Firestarter Entertainment for helping make all of her dreams come true.
Mackenzie Dunn
Dawn
Mackenzie Dunn is one of Australia’s most versatile leading triple threats. Most recently, she starred as Lily St. Regis in Annie The Musical (Crossroads Live), following her critically acclaimed national tour as Rizzo in Grease (Crossroads Live).
Immediately after graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Mackenzie made her professional debut with Black Swan State Theatre Company, playing Bubba Ryan in Summer of the Seventeenth Doll and Squeaky Fromme in Sondheim’s Assassins, earning her the 2018 Best Newcomer in Theatre WA award. Following this she played Francine in Jersey Boys (New Theatricals) and was cast in all three 2019 Production Company productions, Evelyn Nesbit in the Australian premiere of Ragtime, Cora in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Elly understudy in Lazarus. Additional theatre credits include Penny Pingleton in Hairspray (Crossroads Live), Princess Fiona understudy in Shrek The Musical (GFO), and Judy in A Chorus Line (Darlinghurst Theatre Company, Sydney Opera House season).
In 2024, Mackenzie founded the Perryman Theatre Company, named in honour of her grandparents Jill Perryman and Kevan Johnston. Through the company, she produced and choreographed the development season of One Day in September, a new Australian musical presented at the Athenaeum Theatre in Melbourne to sold-out audiences.
Beyond her theatre work, Mackenzie is a passionate songwriter. She co-wrote Rubin Matters’ EPTherapy and, alongside her fiancé, performed her original music under the title Homemade Jam at The Paris Cat Jazz Club in 2023. On screen she can be seen as Bobby in the ABC/Netflix series Why Are You Like This?. Mackenzie is thrilled to be joining the cast of Waitress!

Distilled from a footy playing, pub singing tradie from the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, the much-loved Rob Mills has built an impressive career across screen and stage over the past 20 years. In more recent times he has developed into an accomplished presenter and subsequently an author!
Rob has had celebrated roles in musical shows like & Juliet, Wicked, Hairspray, GHOST, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, Chess and Puffs! and on screen in Neighbours, Winners and Losers, the Peter Allen telemovie, Dancing With The Stars, The Masked Singer, Have You Been Paying Attention and has been a regular on Carols by Candlelight. Rob has also enjoyed presenting travel and tourism stories on the Nine Network’s Postcards. 2026 has Rob delighted to be playing Dr Pomatter in the national tour of Waitress!
Rob featured in the 2025 season of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition with partner Georgie Tunny, achieving an incredible 2nd place! 2025 also saw his show Rob Mills Performs the Songs of Bon Jovi tour nationwide.
The youngest of three boys, Rob has always had a fondness for stories, a yarn and a bit of blokey banter (yet always very much a mummy’s boy). He rose to “fame/infamy” off the back of Australian Idol in 2003, and has recently released his first book exploring what it is to be a modern Aussie man, Putting On A Show – Manhood, Mates and Mental Health through Affirm Press.

Keanu Gonzalez

Keanu Gonzalez is a Sydney-based performer who made his professional musical theatre debut at the age of 16, understudying Scott Hastings in Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom The Musical. At 22, he was cast in his first leading role as Bernardo in the 2019 Australian production of West Side Story, working closely with two-time Tony-nominated Broadway choreographer Joey McKneely.
His theatre credits include Rooster in Annie the Musical (Crossroads Live), Kenickie in Grease the Musical (Crossroads Live) and Charles Lee in Hamilton (Michael Cassel Group), where he also understudied the title role of Alexander Hamilton. Additional credits include Greg in A Chorus Line, Alonzo/Rumpus Cat in Cats and Kassim understudy in Disney’s Aladdin.
Born in Sydney and raised in Woolloomooloo’s public housing, Keanu grew up in a close-knit community that shaped his strong sense of resilience and connection. His father immigrated to Australia from the Philippines in 1974 and his mother from Serbia in 1991, and he credits his parents, Danijela and Juan, with instilling in him values of honesty, respect, and family.
Keanu’s performing journey began at age seven through Kung Fu, where he was on track to become the youngest student at his school to earn a black belt. He instead committed fully to dance, training at the world-renowned Brent Street Performing Arts School while completing his academic studies via distance education. At 19, he furthered his training at the Stella Adler Acting Studio in Los Angeles and later appeared in the independent feature film The Siege of Robin Hood.
Keanu would like to acknowledge his mother Danijela and late father Juan, whose strength, humour and steadfast love helped shape the person and artist he is today.
Gareth Isaac

Hailing from Gosford on the Central Coast of NSW, Gareth was a commonly seen face at his local musical society before he decided to make the main stage his home. In 2016, he received a Bachelor of Music (Musical Theatre) from The Australian Institute of Music. During his time there, Gareth appeared as the Voice of the Book in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and as Clyde in The Witches of Eastwick. In 2021, Gareth received a Masters of Fine Arts (Voice) from NIDA. During his time at NIDA, Gareth served as a Voice and Dialect Assistant for Next To Normal and … And Tell Sad Stories of the Deaths of Queens. He has since begun operating his own vocal coaching studio, Tune-Up Voice Coaching, where he specialises in speech, singing and dialect coaching services.
Gareth has most recently been seen as Buddy the Elf in the Australian Premiere cast of Elf the Musical (Crossroads Live), Eugene in Grease (Crossroads Live), Robertson Ay in Mary Poppins (Michael Cassel Group, Cameron Mackintosh) and The Narrator in Puffs: Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic (TEG). His other credits include Eugene in The Original Grease, Featured Ensemble in Kiss Me, Kate (Squabbalogic), President 3/Waiter in Dear World (Neglected Musicals), Silvius/Charles in As You Like It and Dull in Love’s Labour’s Lost (Melbourne Shakespeare Company).
Gareth was also a semi-finalist in the Rob Guest Endowment Award in 2018, and won Best Actor in a Play (Broadway World, 2019) for Puffs. Gareth has been a proud member of Actor’s Equity since 2015.
John Xintavelonis

John has enjoyed a long and distinguished career on the stage, radio, television, film and in corporate entertainment. He has made a significant contribution to the arts in his home state of Tasmania, becoming a much-loved household name in the process and known locally as John X. His music theatre highlights include playing the role of Pumbaa in the Melbourne and Shanghai seasons of The Lion King and reprising the role in Perth in 2016 (Walt Disney Company), Harry the Horse in Guys and Dolls (Opera Australia), the Lion in The Wizard of Oz (GFO) and Mr Braithwaite in Billy Elliot The Musical (Billy Australia P/L). John’s other music theatre credits include South Pacific (Opera Australia), The Threepenny Opera (Malthouse/ Victorian Opera/ STC), Jekyll and Hyde in Korea (TML) and The Boy from Oz (The Production Company).
Television credits include Bay of Fires, The Tailings, Rosehaven, The Kettering Incident, Winners and Losers, Tricky Business and Dance Academy 2. John’s film credits include A Journey Through Time with Anthony and The Sound of One Hand Clapping. An accomplished voice artist, John’s voice has featured in Legends of the Guardians, Australia and Mao’s Last Dancer.
Annie Aitken

Annie Aitken is a critically acclaimed performer known for her vocally and dramatically challenging roles across Australia and the UK. She most recently starred as Sarah Brown in Guys & Dolls for Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour, and as Cunégonde in Opera Australia’s Candide at the Sydney Opera House, a role she previously performed with State Opera & State Theatre South Australia, and originally with Sydney Philharmonia Choirs.
Her breakout performance as Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie (The Production Company) established her as one of Australia’s leading ladies and showcased her as a true triple threat. UK credits include Hedy LaRue in How to Succeed in Business (Southwark Playhouse), Madame in Cinderella (Hope Mill Theatre), and Lucy Harris in the London premiere development of Jekyll & Hyde (Lambert Jackson), later performing the role alongside composer Frank Wildhorn in Frank and Friends at Cadogan Hall.
Australian stage credits include Nellie Melba in Melba (Hayes Theatre Co), original cast of Muriel’s Wedding (STC / Global Creatures), A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Oklahoma! John Waters is one of Australia’s finest leading actors. His stellar theatre credits span productions in Australia, the UK and the USA, from lead roles in Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar both for Harry M Miller Productions, They’re Playing Our Song for JC Williamsons, A Little Night Music and Talk for Sydney Theatre Company, The Sound of Music for the Gordon Frost Organisation, Oliver! for Cameron Mackintosh, Paris: A Rock Odyssey at the Melbourne Recital Centre, to The Rocky Horror Show and The Addams Family, both New Theatricals productions. He also appeared in Melbourne Theatre Company’s production of The Swimming Club and Sydney Theatre Company’s production of Bloom. More recently, John appeared in the play The Woman in Black and L’Hotel, a cabaret style theatre production.

Cameron Boxall

Originally from Canberra, Cameron relocated to Sydney to train at ED5 International. As a performer, Cameron most recently appeared as Bert Healy in Annie for Crossroads Live!, and toured Australia in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as a member of the ensemble (understudy Cogsworth and Maurice). He has also performed as the Steward (understudy Cinderella’s Prince) in Into the Woods for Bloom Creative Productions. Other credits include national and international engagements with Princess Cruises, Universal Studios Singapore and the award-winning group The Tap Pack.
Cameron has also established himself as a choreographer making his Hayes Theatre debut choreographing Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Redfern Lane, and was choreographer for Brothers Bare (Melbourne Fringe Festival). With Packemin Productions, he served as revival choreographer for Amy Campbell on Wicked and received the 2022 BroadwayWorld Award for Best Choreography for Kinky Boots. He thanks his family and friends for their continued support, and dedicates this work to his mum, whose encouragement continues to guide him.
Alexandra Cashmere

Alexandra Cashmere is a Melbourne-based performer who began working in the industry at a young age. She made her professional musical theatre debut in the original Australian production of Love Never Dies (Really Useful Group) and has since built an impressive resume across film, television, and theatre. Alexandra trained at SHOWFIT before graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre). During her time at VCA she was honoured with the Paul and Donna Dainty Award for Excellence in Fine Arts.
Her recent stage credits include starring as Ulla in Mel Brooks’ The Producers at the Hayes Theatre (Joshua Robson Productions), earning two Sydney Theatre Award nominations for her performance, and was most recently seen in the Australian Premiere of Back to the Future The Musical (Crossroads Live). Alexandra is delighted to help share this beautiful story of Waitress and wants to extend a warm thank you to her friends and family for their unwavering support.

A First Nations 2019 graduate of WAAPA Music Theatre and the 2021 Directorial Mentorship Program, Ethan has worked in the arts since 2013, creating and performing internationally and Australia-wide. His credits include Rum Tum Tugger in Cats: The Arena Spectacular (Brisbane Convention Centre), Pirates of Penzance (Lyric Theatre, QPAC), Doody in Grease: The Arena Spectacular (RAC Arena, Perth), Lucas Beineke in The Addams Family Musical (Regal Theatre, Perth), Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz (Crown Theatre, Perth), Joe in 9 to 5 (Australian tour), Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show (Australian tour), Chicago (Australian tour), Jesus Christ Superstar (Australian tour), George McFly in Back to the Future for Crossroads Live, and Ned Kelly in Reg Livermore’s Ned Kelly: The Musical (Her Majesty’s Theatre, Ballarat). Ethan also produces independently, and has collaborated with Short + Sweet Festival, MELT Festival and Anywhere Theatre Festival.
Dwayne P. Mitchell

Dwayne is honoured and grateful to join this incredible cast, crew and company for the Australian Premiere of Waitress. Originally from the US, Dwayne recently made his Aussie debut as the Dance Captain, Fight Captain and Onstage Swing in the Australian Premiere of Back To the Future: The Musical after transferring from the North American Broadway tour of Back To the Future. His other credits include Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations (US National Tour) and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. He trained at Fisk University (BA Music, Vocal Performance) and Boston Conservatory at Berklee (MFA Musical Theatre). Joseph Naim

Born and raised in Melbourne, Joseph discovered his passion for performing through the city’s thriving cover band scene, where he developed a versatile sound influenced by pop, rock and soul. With Egyptian heritage informing his sense of identity and creative expression, he began formal training in 2003 at the Ciccone Academy of Performing Arts and later received an elite scholarship to APO Arts Academy’s Musical Theatre program.
Joseph has since built a dynamic career in Australian musical theatre, appearing in major productions including Jersey Boys, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Lion King, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and most recently the Australian tour of Come From Away. Joseph is also a long running member of The Ten Tenors and has toured all over the world including North and South America, Europe, Asia and, of course, back home in Australia.
Conor Neylon

A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Conor (he/him) is a performer/writer/composer/instrumentalist and one half of the creative duo Neylon & Peele. Most recently, he appeared as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings: A Musical Tale (GWB Entertainment) and performed in Groundhog Day (GWB Entertainment) in the role of Gus.
Other performing credits include Carousel: A Concert (Enda Markey Presents), City of Angels (Joshua Robson Productions), The Grinning Man (Salty Theatre), US tour of Meeting Mozart (CDP Productions), and Irene and Brigadoon (Neglected Musicals). Whilst at WAAPA, he received the 2017 Bill Warnock Scholarship.
As a creative, Conor music directed The Beep Test (Neylon & Peele) at Melbourne Fringe which won the Green Room Award for Best New Australian Musical Theatre Writing, and has recently released the Australian cast recording on all streaming platforms.
Conor would also like to pay his respects to the traditional custodians of the lands, past, present and emerging, on which we work and perform.
Belle Parkinson

Belle is a theatre performer based in Melbourne and a recent graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), completing a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre. Prior, Belle trained at the May Downs School of Dance under Renie Ann Martini OAM.
Most recently, she starred as Sophie Sheridan in AG theatre’s production of Mamma Mia! Her other theatre credits include Cecile in Cruel Intentions (Agent Digital), Hailey Rawler in the Melbourne premiere of Bearded (Nick Waxman and Sean Donehue), Ana in 50 Shades! The Musical Parody (David Venn Enterprises) and Female cover in Dog Man: The Musical (CDP Productions). Her theatre credits whilst training include Assassins, Mack and Mabel, Hamlet, Sweeney Todd, dance captain in Cats and Ariel Moore in Footloose.

Emily Robinson

Emily Robinson (she/her) is a Kiwi performer who moved to Melbourne in 2022. Before relocating, Emily played Eponine in Les Misérables (G&T Productions & Amici Trus) in Auckland, and is grateful to the Amici Trust for their generous funding support throughout her studies. She studied at the Victorian College of the Arts, graduating in 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre. During her training, she received the Cassidy Bequest Scholarship, the Dr Richard Simmie and Dr Andrew McAliece Prize, and the Nordling Award for Music Theatre.
In 2025, Emily starred as Jane Porter in Tarzan – The Stage Musical (James Terry Collective) and played the role of Little Fan in A Christmas Carol (Marriner Group).

Elandrah Tavares

Elandrah is a dynamic and versatile triple-threat performer. A proud graduate of Patrick School of the Arts, she holds qualifications in both Musical Theatre and Performing Arts. Most recently, Elandrah captivated audiences worldwide in the International tour of Hamilton (Michael Cassel Group), where she showcased her range in dual roles of Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds. Her extensive professional stage credits include starring as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (Prospero Arts), portraying Marta in the Melbourne Theatre Company’s production of Kiss of the Spider Woman, and appearing as Danielle in Bring It On: The Musical.
A staple of the Australian stage, Elandrah’s career includes original cast roles in Disney’s Aladdin and the Australian premieres of Memphis and In the Heights. Beyond the stage, she has appeared on screen in Visit Victoria’s ‘Every Bit Different’ campaign, directed by Tony Briggs.
Elandrah is delighted to be a part of this amazing production. It is a bucket list show for her.
Bree Tipoki

Bree is a proud First Nations mother, creative and performer of the Palawa people of Lutruwita. Bree is passionate about storytelling through movement and empowering the next generation. Most recently Bree was the Resident Choreographer/swing of RENT at the Sydney Opera House. Her previous credits include Resident Director/Choreographer of Jesus Christ Superstar (Crossroads Live), Co-dance Captain/understudy La Chocolate and Arabia in Moulin Rouge! the Musical (Global Creatures), Director/Choreographer for Once on this Island and Associate Director/Choreographer for The Producers (Altitude Theatre), Shrek (GFO), Resident Choreographer for School of Rock (GWB), Dance Captain for The Wizard of Oz (GFO), Rachel Marron understudy in The Bodyguard (GFO), Side Show (Hayes Theatre), Cats (RUG), Showboat (TPC), Truly Scrumptious understudy in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (TML) and Wicked (GFO).

Stephanie’s theatre credits include understudy Narrator/Ensemble in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat Australian Tour (TWE), Swing in The Who’s Tommy (Victorian Opera), understudy Dorothy/Ensemble in The Wizard of Oz Australian tour (Gordon Frost Organisation), Mary Mcguire in The Beautiful Game (Manilla Street Productions) and Standby in Grace Under Pressure (Alternative Facts). A graduate of WAAPA (Bachelor of Music Theatre) in 2016, Stephanie was also awarded the Future Prospect Award for the 2019 Rob Guest Endowment. She is honoured to be a part of this beautiful musical with so much heart. Stephanie would like to thank her partner Jessica, parents Heather and David, agent Dace McLuckie, voice teacher Rosie Harris and dance teacher Dana Jolly for their unwavering love and support.
